Fallen objects from the sky: SpaceX debris crashes into North Carolina home
An unusual event occurred in North Carolina, USA. The owner of one of the homes heard a loud noise and saw an unidentified object lying on the roof of his property. At first, the American was convinced it was a bird. Later, it turned out to be debris from a SpaceX spacecraft.

Mike Wooten from Franklin, North Carolina, was visibly surprised when a large, unidentified object struck his house. Initially, the American was convinced that a dead bird, which had fallen after hitting a window, was lying on his roof.
However, as the American station ABC News described, the object that struck his house was from space. The object, about 38 cm long, 10 cm wide, and weighing almost 1 kg, was said to resemble "a car part."
It turns out this was not the first such discovery in recent days, a few days before the incident in Franklin, a similar (but heavier and larger) object fell in Haywood County, about 65 km away.
NASA does not comment on the incident. Expert speaks about a fragment of a SpaceX spacecraft
Mike Wooten believes the mysterious object fell from space. In the American’s opinion, it is a fragment of a SpaceX spacecraft built in collaboration between Elon Musk's company and NASA.
Astronomer and astrophysicist Jonathan McDowell confirms the North Carolina resident's opinion. The scientist claims that both elements may come from a spacecraft launched into space in August of last year.
The expert believes the smaller and larger objects may have been part of a whole but separated upon entering the atmosphere. However, NASA and SpaceX do not confirm this information.
Scientists call discoveries like these "space debris." They threaten the cleanliness of space and can also cause problems on Earth. Uncontrolled impacts of such debris can lead to severe disasters.
