"Something is burning, and explosions can be heard," alert residents of Rostov-on-Don in Russia. According to Privet-Rostov, a fuel warehouse on the territory of the grain terminal is on fire. The Ministry for Emergency Situations confirms this information.

The first reports of the fire were from the residents of Rostov, who heard a series of explosions. "Something's burning; you can hear the blasts. What's happening?" they wrote on local Telegram channels.

As reported by 161.ru, "Smoke can be seen from different parts of the city. "The moment of the explosion was recorded on video. According to witnesses, there were several of them," we read.

A moment later, another explosion occurred.

The fire broke out on the grain terminal's territory. "According to preliminary information, a fuel warehouse on the grain terminal's territory was burning. There's a lot of traffic in the city centre, and flashing lights are visible everywhere. It is still unknown what caused the fire," writes the channel Eto Rostov.

The Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations reported that a call to the emergency units was made at about 5:46 PM Greenwich Time. "We received a message that a hangar is on fire. Emergency services are being directed to the scene" - we read.

Several minutes later, in another message, the ministry reported that the fire covered an area of about 1,000 square metres. "There are no injured or dead" - it was emphasized.
