This is how English fans bid farewell to the Dutch in Dortmund

The Euro 2024 semi-final between England and the Netherlands is over. The Sons of Albion won 2-1 and will face Spain in the grand final. The match took place at Signal Iduna Park stadium in Dortmund and, even before it began, there was an excellent atmosphere, though not without its unpleasant incidents.

During the match, the fans ensured the spectacle was worthy of its rank, but afterwards, only the winning team supporters celebrated as expected. A few of them decided to make the Dutch fans' departure from one of the largest cities in the Ruhr area a bit more challenging. A video circulating on social media shows the English singing towards the departing Dutch on the train, "There will be no Orange in Berlin".

England or Spain - one of these countries' national teams will become the new European football champion. Both teams will face each other for the first time in history at this stage of the final bracket of the continental championships. In the past, these teams have competed against each other 27 times at various levels, with the Three Lions winning 14 times.

The last Euro meeting between these nations occurred in 1996 at the quarter-final stage. The English came out on top, eliminating La Furia Roja on penalties (4-2). It is worth noting that they have only met twice before within the European championships, and the islanders were better each time. The Euro 2024 final at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin kicks off on Sunday, 14th July, at 20:00 GMT.
