On the night of 15th to 16th September in Los Angeles, the 76th Emmy Awards ceremony took place. Eugene Levy and Dan Levy hosted the event. The Emmy Awards are considered one of the most prestigious honours in the television industry. Who were the winners?

The awarded series included: "Shogun" (Best Drama Series), "Hacks" (Best Comedy Series), and "Baby Reindeer" (Best Limited Series or Anthology). The awards for Best Actor and Actress in a Drama Series went to Anna Sawai ("Shogun") and Hiroyuki Sanada ("Shogun"). Meanwhile, the awards for Best Actor and Actress in a Comedy Series were won by Jean Smart ("Hacks") and Jeremy Allen White ("The Bear").

Naomi Watts was among the nominees for Best Lead Actress in a Limited Series, Anthology, or TV Movie for her role as Babe Paley in the series "Feud: Capote vs. The Swans". The award went to Jodie Foster ("True Detective: Night Country"), but the fashion accolade belongs to Naomi Watts.

For the occasion, the actress chose an evening gown in old Hollywood style. She opted for an emerald green shade that beautifully complemented her delicate features and blonde hair.

The satin finish of the dress from the Balenciaga collection also deserves attention. The green maxi dress shone in the flash of the photographers' cameras. The strapless design highlighted the neckline, and the train was the "cherry on top". Naomi Watts chose an elegant bob. She didn't go overboard with makeup and jewellery, proving that sometimes less is more.

How did other stars present themselves? Jennifer Aniston's outfit is our favourite. The actress appeared in a shimmering Oscar de la Renta gown. She joined the trend for see-throughs but there was no vulgarity involved. She looked tasteful and elegant.

Selena Gomez stepped out in a black gown from Ralph Lauren's collection. The halter neckline adorned with crystals stole all the attention.

Meryl Streep chose a suit in a light pink colour. This three-piece set is a perfect choice for a grand event - especially for mature women.

Rita Ora also chose a powder pink shade. She wore a strapless maxi, but the showstopper was the feathered sleeves, which created a sort of train. The effect was spectacular! Eiza Gonzalez, the star of the series The Three-Body Problem, chose an almost identical dress. The neckline was the only difference.
