In today's world, where dangers lurk at almost every step, it is extremely important to remain cautious and make wise decisions. Not everyone realises this, but some mobile phones can help.
They have a special feature that can be extremely useful, especially during meetings with people we are just getting to know. Check if your phone also has it – it might save you in a dangerous situation.
It's about automatically sending an emergency SMS to a previously designated person. Such an option certainly exists in most iPhones. Be sure to check if your phone also has this helpful feature. The TikTok account named @smartspotcompl explains step-by-step how to activate this option.
How to turn on the function in the phone?
Remember that this phone function is designed to increase your safety. According to the instructions, go into the SMS messages and choose a trusted person, then click the plus sign next to their name. After that, you need to find the function on the phone that should be called—let them know.
Select the Let Them Know function, then edit and set a timer for when the emergency message should be automatically sent to someone. For example, if you are going to a meeting with someone unknown, you can set the notification to be sent to a close person’s phone after two hours.
If you don't let the close person know that everything is okay after sending such a message and an additional 15 minutes, then that person will automatically receive an SMS with your location. Useful, right? Thanks to this, your phone can help increase your safety.
You can also share your location with a close person so that they can check where you are at any time.
