On Saturday, the Duchess attended the official Remembrance Day services. It marked Kate's first public appearance at an official event since finishing chemotherapy. Accompanied by her husband, Prince William, she participated in a concert for soldiers and veterans at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

The event took place on Saturday, 9th November, in honour of Remembrance Day. On this day, Britons pay homage to soldiers who died in wars. Among the guests was King Charles III, who is himself contending with cancer. His entrance was met with a standing ovation.

Duchess Kate is gradually returning to public duties following a period of intensive treatment. In January, she spent a fortnight in hospital after major abdominal surgery. In March this year, in a poignant recording, Duchess Kate revealed that she is battling cancer. The illness and treatment caused a reduction in media activity and the relinquishment of many commitments.

Duchess Kate has completed chemotherapy but announces that it is still not over

At the start of September, in a recording published on the official channels of the Prince and Princess of Wales, Kate announced that she had completed chemotherapy. Since then, the 42-year-old Duchess has gradually resumed her duties and made more frequent public appearances.

In the aforementioned video, Duchess Kate stressed that although she has finished chemotherapy, her "path to healing and full recovery is long." She also added that she "must continue to take each day as it comes."
