Cottage cheese bread is crispy and tasty, and only two ingredients are needed to make it. Keto bread made from cottage cheese can be served alone or with various toppings, just like sandwiches. There’s no chance that something willn’t rise, the yeast willn’t cooperate, and the bake will be an unappetising disaster. Cottage cheese bread is thin and crispy and can be prepared quickly.

Cottage cheese is not just an addition to sandwiches – it’s also an excellent base for making homemade bread. Simply combine it with an egg and your favourite spices, bake, and it’s ready. A quick breakfast is perfect for busy days, especially when you open the breadbox and find only crumbs.
It’s worth remembering to prepare such bread a bit earlier. Before combining it with toppings, it needs to cool down. It’s perfect for breakfast, dinner, or as a healthy snack between meals.
Ingredients:
- 200 g cottage cheese,
- 1 egg,
- a pinch of salt,
- your favourite spices (e.g., smoked paprika, herbes de Provence, garlic),
Preparation:
- Put all the ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth.
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Spread the mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (top-bottom mode).
- Bake for about 30 minutes, until the bread is golden brown.
Wrap the cooled bread in cling film and store in the fridge for up to three days. However, it disappears much faster - it's simply delicious.
What to serve with cottage cheese bread?
You can treat it like regular bread and put cheese, cold cuts, or vegetables on it. It also works well as a wrap. Make a mini-pizza with pesto and ham or a caprese sandwich with mozzarella and tomato.
