The media storm surrounding Diddy continues, all due to a high-profile arrest and mounting evidence against him. Among other things, the rapper is charged with various crimes, and the court has twice refused to release him on bail. The tabloid press has started scrutinising Combs' relationships with those who appeared in his circle not so long ago.
Did Justin Bieber mention Diddy in a song? Fans have "evidence"
The list also includes Justin Bieber, who had the opportunity to meet Diddy many years ago. The two not only collaborated but also partied together, as even the Kardashian sisters mentioned publicly on their show. The Daily Mail spoke with someone from Bieber's circle, who stated he is devastated by the accusations hanging over his close acquaintance.
Bieber is so disturbed by the Diddy news and is unwilling to process it or discuss it so he has shut off. So many people who helped to make him who he is were very close to Diddy and it has completely thrown him.
In the meantime, there have even been suggestions that the singer might be one of Diddy's victims, although no solid evidence has yet been presented. However, an old recording of a then-underage Bieber mentioning spending two days in the rapper's company has gained renewed attention online. The most surprising comments came from Combs himself.
Bieber's fans have found a clue and are now presenting their "evidence" from their little investigation to the world. According to some of the fandom, Justin hinted at Diddy in one of his songs, and it’s hardly about good memories. The song in question is "Lonely" from the album "Justice."
And everybody saw me sick/ And it felt like no one gave/ They criticized the things I did as a ... kid/ What if you had it all/ But nobody to call?/ Maybe then you'd know me/ 'Cause I've had everything/ But no one's listening/ And that's just lonely - the song goes.
Bieber himself later mentioned on Twitter that it's hard for him to revisit that song, but he chose to be open because that's what reaches listeners' hearts. Now, his fans believe it might have been a reference to Diddy, specifically to Justin being thrown into the adult world of show business as a young singer without support or protection from those close to him.
No one protected him. Not even his family. I love this song, but those words were always significant. I hope he works through it someday - wrote one fan, adding the hashtag "Diddy."
The world should have protected you. I'm so sorry - wrote another, while a third wondered: Could Diddy have influenced the hardships in his life?
