While cinnamon is mainly associated with apples, it also creates a delightful pairing with peaches. The entire dish is finished with a crunchy, buttery crumble. This simple dessert combines various textures, making every bite a delicious pleasure.

Baked peaches with cinnamon and crumble

This dessert is ideal for almost any time of the year and any occasion. Whether satisfying a sweet craving after dinner or impressing guests at a family gathering, baked peaches have a significant advantage – you don’t have to worry if they are not perfectly ripe. In the oven, they become delicate and sweet and melt in your mouth. It’s worth adding a scoop of your favourite vanilla or cream ice cream for even more indulgence.

In this recipe, the heart of the peach is not the pit but a delicious cinnamon paste made with butter and a hint of vanilla. This simple addition elevates an ordinary peach into a delightfully sophisticated dessert.

Ingredients:

  • 3 peaches,
  • olive oil for drizzling,

Cinnamon Paste:

  • 2 tablespoons soft butter,
  • 4 tablespoons sugar,
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon,
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract,

Crumble:

  • 7 tablespoons melted butter,
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour,
  • 1/2 cup sugar.

Garnish:

  • cream ice cream,
  • mint leaf.

Preparation

Step 1. Start by preparing the crumble. Sift the all-purpose flour into a bowl, add the sugar, and pour in the melted and cooled butter. Knead the crumble and place it in the refrigerator.
