Recipe for cucumber soup like grandma's

We only need broth, pickled cucumbers, and potatoes to prepare cucumber soup. Adding honey to it does not hurt, as it can soothe its sour taste a little. The order in which you add the ingredients is also crucial.

We should start preparing cucumber soup with the broth. Both meat and vegetable broths work great. In the meantime, peel the potatoes and cut them into small cubes, which should be added to the boiling broth.

Next, we need to prepare the cucumbers. Grate them, and add them to the soup when the potatoes are soft enough. Fans of solid flavours can also add a cup of pickle brine to the pot.
