Cristiano Ronaldo at 39: a journey through romance, fame and fatherhood

Well-recognised as one of the globally acclaimed athletes, Cristiano Ronaldo might be nearing the end of his career, but his influence will continue to prevail. At 39, he can hardly be forgotten once he retires from his active football career.

The fervent Portuguese player, who celebrates his birthday on February 5, has taken his time to find his soul mate. He has been with Georgina Rodriguez since 2016, with whom he has four children. They are also raising Cristiano Ronaldo Junior, his child from a previous relationship, before meeting Rodriguez.

The media reports state that Jordana Jardel was Ronaldo's first significant relation. She's notably the sister of ex-Brazilian footballer, Mario Jardel. The Portuguese met her in 2003, but their relationship ended when he transferred from Lisbon to Manchester.

Ronaldo was later linked with reality television personality Imogen Thomas. Although there were rumours of their affair in 2011, according to Ronaldo's spokesperson, these allegations were baseless. As per them, Ronaldo merely attempted to reach out to her.

In 2008, Ronaldo became romantically involved with Spanish model Nereida Gallardo. However, it's said that he started dating Letizia Filippi, who was older than him, that same year. Gallardo was seen in news lately accusing Ronaldo's current partner of having undisclosed plastic surgeries.

When Real Madrid signed Ronaldo, it's said he celebrated his transfer in Los Angeles. Media reports speculated that he met Paris Hilton there and began dating. This supposed romance, however, was short-lived and soon forgotten.

Ronaldo was also linked with Kim Kardashian. Rumours suggested the duo spent time together when Kardashian visited Madrid. Yet again, this relationship didn't last.

When Ronaldo began dating Irina Shayk, many believed he had finally met his match. They were together for five years, but the relationship eventually concluded.

Initially, there were reports suggesting Ronaldo had been unfaithful, a version confirmed by the Russian model herself.

All in all, according to the media, Ronaldo has been associated with a total of 13 women at different points in his life. Given his high-profile status, there may have been more that the public is unaware of. The 39-year-old, now happily settled with Rodriguez since 2016, would be the only one who could confirm.
