Chicken in mushroom sauce
Ingredients:
- Chicken breast
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 200g of mushrooms
- 150ml of stock
- 200ml of double cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2-3 tablespoons of butter
- A teaspoon of plain flour
- Dill or chives for serving
Method of Preparation:
- Clean the chicken fillet and cut it into small strips.
- Rub the meat with garlic passed through a garlic press, salt, and pepper.
- Fry it in butter for a few minutes, then add the mushrooms. Stir and fry until the mushrooms have evaporated.
- Pour in the stock and cook for a short while.
- Add the cream mixed with flour.
- Heat briefly as the sauce thickens quickly. You can adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper if necessary.
- Serve the chicken in the sauce sprinkled with dill or chives. It pairs well with groats or rice.
