British tourist stabbed in Tenerife resort amid mystery disappearance

The 22-year-old with serious injuries was transported to the University Hospital of Nuestra Señora de Candelaria in Tenerife's capital, Santa Cruz. He is currently in the intensive care unit.
We received a 999 call just before 6.30am this morning requesting assistance for an injured man in a street called Avenida Antonio Dominguez Alfonso in the municipality of Arona, said the spokesman for the Crisis Response Coordination Centre.
According to "The Sun," the attacked man is from the UK and was on holiday on the island. This information has not yet been officially confirmed. Local police have launched an investigation into the attack.
As of yesterday afternoon, it was reported that it was unknown if any arrests had been made in connection with this case. Still, the latest reports indicate that the police arrested a Spanish citizen. The authorities only stated that "the incident is still under investigation".

After the party, Jay was supposed to spend time with people he met during the night out. Soon, the media reported that the boy disappeared under mysterious circumstances. His body was found after nearly a month of searching near the town of Masca.
