British academic warns of potential World War III outbreak in 2024

According to Professor Anthony Glees, World War III could begin on March 18, 2024. Where does this date come from? In his opinion, Russia's attack on other countries would occur right after Vladimir Putin's victory in the presidential elections scheduled for March 17 is announced.

Interestingly, he suggests that it was not Putin who started the conflict but Alexander Lukashenko. Glees claims that the President of Belarus considered Putin's puppet, could insinuate a border violation by Poland or Ukraine, leading to armed retaliation.

Then, NATO would be forced to mobilize. However, before that happens, Russian forces might occupy the Baltic states, perhaps even Poland. According to the British expert, this could lead to a large-scale conflict.

However, Glees does not provide concrete facts on which he bases his predictions.

This is not the only disturbing information that has been circulating for some time. On Thursday, Lithuanian intelligence stated that Russia is preparing for a long-term confrontation with NATO, with a focus on the Baltic Sea region. Since 2023, when Finland joined NATO, Russia has systematically bolstered its presence in this area.

The Lithuanians report that in 2023, after Finland joined NATO, Russia stationed warships in Lake Ladoga capable of carrying Kalibr cruise missiles. In the same timeframe, Russia deployed five Tu-22M3 heavy bombers to the Baltic Sea region.
