Brad Pitt's struggles with fatherhood post-divorce
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have six children, three of whom are adopted. Following their high-profile divorce in 2019, all the children came under their mother's care. According to "well-informed sources," the actor increasingly misses his children.
The relationship between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie began on the set of "Mr. & Mrs. Smith." In 2006, their first child, Shiloh, was born. The couple also adopted a girl named Zahara. Pitt later signed documents to become the legal guardian of Maddox, whom Angelina had adopted a few years earlier. In 2007, Pax from Vietnam joined the family, and in 2008 Jolie gave birth to twins, Knox and Vivienne. The Hollywood star indeed has much to miss.
Most of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's children are now adults. Maddox is 23, Pax is 21, Zahara is 19, Shiloh is 18, while the twins Knox and Vivienne are 16. They still live with their mother but remain distant from their father. According to Page Six, Pitt was "feeling hurt" when he learned that his biological daughter Shiloh gave up his surname after filing a legal request on her 18th birthday.
"They used to have a good relationship but that’s in the past and it breaks his heart. Brad feels like Angelina has turned his kids against him," reports Page Six, citing a "well-informed source."
"Brad is missing his kids and wishes he had a closer relationship with them, particularly with celebrating the holidays and his birthday this month. They used to have a good relationship but that’s in the past and it breaks his heart," claims the informant.
Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie is increasingly seen with her adult and teenage children in public places, at various galas and ceremonies, which reportedly always irritates her ex-husband. Recently, she took her son Knox to the 2024 Governors Awards ceremony.
