Sybiha relayed this information following discussions with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, which took place in Brussels.
The head of American diplomacy assured that in the coming weeks, the outgoing administration of President Joe Biden intends to continue its efforts of the past four years, namely reinforcing the Alliance and supporting Ukraine in effectively defending itself against Russia.
We discussed this in detail with my American counterpart. We talked about all types of weapons, the deliveries of which fall under the president's authority, stated Sybiha.
Ukraine to receive significant support from the USA
According to the minister, Washington's aid will include, among other things, payments for arms production contracts. "This is very important. We received such assurances during the meeting of our delegations and during my meeting with Secretary of State Blinken," he conveyed.
We also discussed the issue of long-range missile attacks on military targets in Russia, as well as Ukraine’s Euro-Atlantic integration. Here too, we are cautiously optimistic. A very important meeting, emphasised the head of Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Sybiha noted that the authorities in Kyiv currently have a "clear picture of the situation, clear timeline, and clarity on the scale of deliveries that will be provided to Ukraine by the end of the year from the United States." This information aids Ukraine in strategically planning operations on the battlefield. "And it's with such information that I return to Kyiv," the minister reported.
