During his time fighting on the front, he discovered his wife had been unfaithful for many months. Desertion was likely driven by the complex family situation back home, highlighting the struggles of Vladimir Putin's mercenaries.

Recordings featuring Russian soldiers frequently emerge on social media, highlighting their challenging conditions, from equipment shortages to uniform issues. Some only confront these realities through interactions with Ukrainians, having been misled by Kremlin propaganda.

The captured prisoner, Ivan Dubron, is 25 years old and hails from Tolyatti. He served in the 89th Regiment as a scout signaler. He mentioned his main motivation was to support his parents, as Russia "paid good money." The video was shared on the service "X" under the "Technicznybdg #FreeTheF16" profile.

Ivan Dubron's parents received a pension of 50 thousand rubles, equivalent to a little over £8,200 a year.
