How to cook cauliflower to avoid unpleasant odours?

There are several proven ways to minimise the strong smell when cooking cauliflower. The first method involves using baking soda. Simply add a pinch of baking soda to the boiling water. This simple trick significantly reduces the odour. Baking soda also acts as a whitening agent, making the cooked cauliflower look more appetising.

Another way to prevent an unpleasant smell is by adding a little milk to the water. This method not only neutralises unwanted odours but also subtly enhances the flavour of the cauliflower.
