Baked chicken drumsticks are an easy way to make a tasty dinner for the whole family. Preparing them is easy, and the cost of ingredients is low. Today, I'll share a recipe for aromatic chicken drumsticks that are incredibly tender and flavourful after baking.

Chicken drumsticks in various marinades

Chicken is a type of meat that goes well with various flavours so that you can use many marinade options. Here are a few suggestions:

  • Olive oil with lemon juice, garlic, and herbs: This classic combination gives the meat a slightly tangy, herbal flavour.
  • Natural yoghurt with lemon juice, garlic, cumin, and coriander: Yoghurt tenderises the meat, and the spices give it an oriental aroma.
  • Mustard with honey, olive oil, garlic, and soy sauce: The combination of mustard and honey gives the meat a spicy-sweet taste.
  • Lemon juice with olive oil, garlic, and paprika: Perfect for spicy food lovers.

Each of these marinades contains an acidic ingredient that helps tenderise the meat. Remember to always add salt and pepper to the marinade or rub them on the meat before marinating. The chicken should sit in the marinade for at least 2 hours, but preferably 6-8 hours.
