It's started! The airport in Antalya, Turkey, is experiencing a veritable siege. Videos have surfaced online showing constant streams of tourists passing through the airport. Those who are thirsty or hungry will need to dig deeper into their wallets. "You'll need a mortgage," joke internet users.

Tourists going on holiday seek places where they can relax by the sea, enjoy beautiful views, and enjoy delicious cuisine.

It would be all the better if they could do so without spending a fortune. That's precisely why tourists from all around the world love Turkey.

Antalya has been breaking popularity records for some time due to its extensive beaches, picturesque views, and interesting landmarks.

You can fly directly to the resort from Britain, but - judging by the videos circulating on social media - not only Poles appreciate the advantages of this Turkish city.

TikTok users have recently posted videos of the airport in Antalya. The recordings show crowds of tourists constantly passing through the airport.

Good luck to anyone travelling from Antalya airport, wrote one of the video authors sarcastically.

Prices at Antalya Airport

When heading for a holiday in a popular resort, it's worth arming yourself with patience and a well-stocked wallet. Tourists also displayed the prices at the besieged airport. "You'll need a mortgage to buy anything. (...) Prices are crazy! £18 for a piece of pizza", reports one of the video authors.

But that's not all. Pringles crisps cost £6, a frozen coffee costs £7-8, and a chicken sandwich is the same price. Salads are similarly priced. However, it's worth noting that the portions are large, and ingredients have not been spared when preparing meals for tourists.

British are among the leaders in Turkish tourism. Germans, Russians, Swiss, Dutch, Danes, and Poles frequently visit the country.
