Andrew Tate is one of the most controversial internet figures. He gained notoriety for his offensive remarks, insulting women and minorities, and mocking them. On social media, he hosted a podcast where he often discussed topics that he likely fabricated, as there was never any evidence to support his claims. In December 2022, he and his brother were charged with rape and human trafficking. Now, they face additional charges.
Former kickboxer Andrew Tate gained popularity on social media for making highly controversial statements. He often trivialised the idea of hitting women and blamed victims, rather than perpetrators, for rapes. He frequently stated that women should belong to men, especially their bodies. He insulted women who were not slim and prescribed how a real man should behave. Clearly, it is best not to heed his advice, as you might end up in custody.
Andrew Tate arrested again
The first time Andrew Tate and his brother were detained was in December 2022, when they were charged with rape and human trafficking. In 2023, they were released and placed under house arrest. On Wednesday, 21 August, the world learned that the police had once again entered the former influencer's home, having discovered evidence that resulted in Andrew Tate and his brother being taken into custody once again.
It is not confirmed exactly what additional charges the Tate brothers may face. Unofficially, it is said they were involved in sleeping with minors and trafficking them. Additionally, the men were allegedly engaged in money laundering. There are also claims that they influenced witnesses in their case, attempting to prevent anyone from testifying against them. The Tate brothers were taken into custody for 24 hours.
