Hair care is not the easiest task. The choice of cosmetics is huge; drugstore shelves are groaning under excess conditioners or masks. Products should be matched to the needs of the scalp and the type of hair porosity. We distinguish low-porosity (straight), medium-porosity (slightly wavy), and high-porosity (curly).

The basis of beautiful and shiny hair is a healthy scalp, and the golden rule of proper care is to use shampoo for the scalp and conditioner for the hair.

Dandruff is quite a common problem

Dandruff and an itchy scalp are common ailments that probably everyone has fought against at some point. Among the causes of dandruff, we highlight, among others, skin dryness, allergies to certain ingredients in hair care products, or skin diseases. Many products on the market support the fight against dandruff, but it is worth starting with a few important elements.

First, give up strongly cleansing shampoos that can irritate the scalp. While washing your hair, gently massage the scalp with lukewarm water. A popular ingredient also helps.

Just a little is enough

We're talking about aloe, which you can add to your favourite shampoo. Aloe copes perfectly with skin problems, including dandruff. It moisturises the scalp, reduces itching, and soothes irritations. Add a bit of ready-made aloe gel (or aloe pulp) to the shampoo and mix thoroughly. Then, wash your hair, performing a gentle scalp massage.

How to take care of hair in summer?

High temperatures can lead to dry hair. UV radiation and hot air can harm your strands. If you prefer natural (and quite inexpensive) care, reach for honey. Add two teaspoons of honey to the shampoo and use it all summer to keep your hair soft and moisturised.
