A real treat for collectors and history lovers! The Movado Calendograf watch, made of 18-carat yellow gold, which belonged to Winston Churchill, has just gone on sale. One of the most important leaders of the 20th century received this watch in 1946 when he visited Switzerland and gave his famous speech in which he called for the creation of the United States of Europe.
On the back of the watch, the words are engraved: "To Winston Churchill as testimony of the admiration and gratitude of some Swiss citizens, September 1946." But that's not all. A letter accompanies the watch, wishing for it to measure only happy times for Churchill, his loved ones, and England.
In addition to the watch, history enthusiasts can also purchase a set of three Havana cigars, which once belonged to Churchill. The politician later gifted them to his banker. In many old photos, we see the politician with a cigar in his mouth. Churchill loved to smoke them and gladly posed with them.
