It turned out that it really works and is great for drinks, especially delicious iced coffee or the increasingly popular matcha green tea. With these two recipes on hand, you'll quickly forget about the sweet coffees from popular chains. Not only are they much tastier, but they also take very little time to prepare.
Whipped honey
Did you know that honey can have the consistency of light foam? All you need is a little patience and some whipping. This way, we get a product with a velvety, fluffy consistency that wonderfully highlights the natural sweet taste of honey. It is an excellent alternative to traditional honey, especially for those who plan to add it to drinks.
How to whip honey? Simply transfer 140 grams of multi-flower honey to a large container and whip with a blender or mixer.
Iced coffee with whipped honey
Although summer is already behind us, iced coffee tastes great all year round especially when we add whipped honey to it.
Ingredients:
- whipped honey,
- 2 teaspoons of instant coffee,
- 60 millilitres of hot water,
- ice cubes,
- milk,
- whipped cream.
Preparation:
Step 1. Pour a portion of whipped honey into the bottom of a glass. Add the instant coffee and hot water, and blend the mixture.
Step 2. Fill the glass with ice cubes, milk, and whipped cream.
Matcha latte with whipped honey
Recently, matcha, or powdered green tea, has gained immense popularity. It tastes really great with whipped honey.
Ingredients:
- whipped honey,
- 1 teaspoon of matcha,
- 60 millilitres of hot water
- ice cubes,
- milk,
- whipped cream.
Preparation:
Step 1. Pour some whipped honey into the bottom of a glass. Add the matcha and hot water, and blend.
Step 2. Add the ice cubes, pour in the milk, and add the whipped cream. Enjoy!
