A calm Tuesday morning became a nightmare and a fight for life in the blink of an eye. A gigantic whale capsized the boat on which two experienced fishermen were onboard. Everything was captured in a blood-curdling recording. It's hard to believe this happened.

On Tuesday morning, two experienced fishermen, Greg Paquette and Ryland Kenney, set off to fish off the coast of Rye, New Hampshire. It seemed that nothing could disturb the beautiful, peaceful morning. However, nothing could be further from the truth.

At one point, a vast whale emerged and struck the fishing boat. In the blink of an eye, both men found themselves in the cold water, fighting a dramatic battle to stay afloat. It seemed that there was no hope for them.

Fortunately, nearby were other fishermen, the young Yager brothers from Eliot, Maine: 19-year-old Wyatt and 16-year-old Colin. The teenagers, who initially observed the whale from a safe distance, did not hesitate for a second when it struck the boat and immediately rushed to the rescue.

Happy ending

Thanks to the quick reaction of the Yager brothers, Paquette and Kenney spent less than two minutes in the water. The teenage heroes rescued the fishermen and transported them safely to a nearby friend's boat. It's noteworthy that the Coast Guard quickly responded to the mayday calls, but thanks to the swift action of the Yager brothers, the situation was already under control. Ultimately, neither the fishermen nor the whale sustained injuries in this hazardous incident.

Paquette and Kenney will surely remember this day for a long time—not only as a terrifying experience but also as a testament to human kindness and courage.

Blood-curdling video

Colin Yager captured the moment on video when the whale struck the boat while he and his brother were fishing off the coast of New Hampshire. Thanks to this, we can at least partially experience the gravity and drama of the nightmarish situation.
