Venom 3 trailer drops: Symbiote mayhem and unexpected allies
The first official trailer for "Venom: The Last Dance" has just appeared online. Dry jokes, giant computer-generated monsters, and even a horse taken over by the titular symbiote are just a few things the creators are boasting about in the new material.

Eddie Brock is a former investigative journalist from San Francisco who, in an accident, merged with a cosmic symbiote named Venom. This symbiosis gives him the ability to transform into a humanoid killing machine.

Since then, Brock has faced several other Venom species representatives, including Carnage (Woody Harrelson), the main antagonist of the previous instalment. Along the way, he also became friends and closely bonded with his cosmic parasitic companion. So, what adventures await them in "Venom: The Last Dance"?
The clip starts with a scene where Eddie and Venom deal with a gang of gangsters running what looks like an underground dog-fighting club. Although the fight goes smoothly, the duo can't synchronize when delivering their catchphrase, "We are Venom." Later, it gets a bit more dramatic as the duo becomes the target of a government agency trying to obtain samples of the cosmic symbiote at all costs.
On the other hand, more and more representatives of Venom's species start appearing on Earth, also chasing Eddie and his "slippery" friend. In short, it will be action-packed - there's even a scene where the symbiote takes over control of a horse. In summary, we have full-blown comic absurdity here.
"Venom: The Last Dance" - cast, creators, and release date
Of course, Tom Hardy returns in the lead role, having continuously portrayed both characters since the beginning of the series. He will be accompanied on-screen by Chiwetel Ejiofor, "Ted Lasso" star Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, and returning actor Stephen Graham as Detective Mulligan/Toxin, and Peggy Lu as Venom's biggest ally, local grocery store owner Mrs Chen.
In collaboration with Hardy, the screenplay is written by series veteran Kelly Marcel, who also wrote the previous two instalments and adapted "Fifty Shades of Grey" in the past. This time, she will also direct "Venom 3." It will be her debut in this role. The film is set to be released in cinemas on 25 October 2024.
