Skillet syrniki
All you need are a few simple ingredients that you probably have in your kitchen. They're a tasty alternative to regular sandwiches or crepes. Preparing these cheesecakes is a breeze. You don't have to spend hours in the kitchen waiting for the dough to rise. Thanks to the cheese, our cheesecakes are not only fluffy but also full of valuable protein and calcium.
Tiny skillet cheesecakes can be served with various toppings, such as fresh fruit, raspberry or chocolate sauce, or a dollop of cream. Some also add chocolate chips to the cheese mixture, which I highly recommend trying.
Ingredients:
- 250 grams of semi-fat cottage cheese,
- 1 egg,
- 1.5 tablespoons of sugar,
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar,
- 4 tablespoons of plain flour for the batter,
- 3 tablespoons of plain flour for coating.
Instructions:
Step 1. Transfer the cottage cheese to a bowl and mash it with a fork. Add the egg, sugar, and vanilla sugar, and mix. At this stage, you can optionally add some chocolate chips or chopped chocolate.
Step 2. Then add the plain flour and mix. Form the mixture into the shape of syrniki and coat them in the plain flour. This helps prevent the cheese pancakes from falling apart.
Step 3. Fry the pancakes in a pan with heated oil or clarified butter until they are golden brown on both sides. Place them on a paper towel to remove excess fat. This will make them lighter.
Step 4. Serve the prepared syrniki with your favourite toppings, such as raspberry sauce. You can quickly make it by heating frozen fruit in a pot and mashing them with a potato masher. Enjoy!
