In Friday's communiqué, the Ukrainian army's general staff stated that the most challenging situation on the front is in the Pokrowsk direction. Numerous clashes also occurred in the Liman and Kurakhove directions in the past 24 hours.

"Ukrainian forces, with decisive actions, neutralize Russian attempts to penetrate deeper into our territory, restrain the enemy with effective fire, and destroy its forces along the entire contact line," emphasized the General Staff in the report quoted by "Ukrainska Pravda".

In the past 24 hours, the Russian aggressor carried out two attacks on Ukrainian territory using six missiles and 39 airstrikes with 52 bombs and 461 kamikaze drones. The enemy also conducted more than 2,700 shellings of Ukrainian military positions and localities using artillery, grenade launchers, small arms, and armoured vehicles. In the Kharkiv direction near Volchansk, there were two unsuccessful Russian attacks.

According to the General Staff, the Russians are not giving up on their attempts to find weak points in the Ukrainian defensive lines. They continuously try to break the combat formations of the Ukrainian units with assault actions. The Ukrainian forces are taking measures to stabilise the situation at the front and stop the enemy's advance.
