Ukrainian drones devastate vital Crimean oil terminal in rare strike
The Russian oil base in Feodosia, Crimea, was almost completely destroyed after a successful attack last Monday (7th October) - media reported, citing the Ukrainian OSINT-Cyberboroshno analyst group. This concerns a very important terminal for the Russians.

Satellite photos of the oil terminal on occupied Crimea, which burned for over five days after the Ukrainian attack, indicate its near-total destruction - reported the Cyberboroshno analytical project.
In total, as reported, 12 tanks were affected. Eight of them were completely destroyed. Buildings on the premises of the facility also burned down.
Explosions and fire started on Monday, 7th October. Ukrainian forces hit the largest oil terminal on Russian-occupied Crimea using drones.
A very important terminal for the occupiers of Crimea
As the media notes, citing specialists, a fire of this type cannot be easily extinguished. One can only wait until it completely burns out and self-extinguishes. Russian occupation authorities only informed about the stabilisation of the situation on Saturday, six days after the attack. A state of emergency was declared in the region.
Evacuation of approximately 1,000 nearby residents was necessary. Despite authorities' assurances that harmful substance concentration standards were not exceeded, residents complained of various ailments – from nausea to coughing.
The oil terminal in Feodosia is the largest Russian terminal in Crimea in terms of the transshipment of oil products, used among others for the needs of the Russian army. This base was already attacked by Ukrainian drones in March.
