The war in Ukraine has been ongoing for 775 days, but some things do not change. The latest footage from the 47th Mechanized Brigade showcases the spectacular strike the Ukrainians dealt to the Russians near Avdiivka. Their target was the advancing tank T-72B3M.
The upgraded version of the Russian tank T-72, designed to enhance combat performance and adapt to modern battlefield requirements, looked exceptionally poor in the video. The explosion following the drone attack was so powerful that it was probably seen several miles away.
The Russian machine exploded and simply disintegrated into tiny pieces.
Ukrainian drones are playing an increasingly crucial role in defensive actions and surveillance in conflict zones. Thanks to these devices, we can witness the outcomes of Ukrainian defence efforts on the front line. Another video once again demonstrates the incredible potential these weapons hold.
The first drone struck the tank's tracks. In the last moment, two Russian soldiers narrowly avoided the direct hit, but one of them was injured. After attending to their colleague, they decided to take cover under the tank. Unfortunately, this decision proved fatal as the Ukrainians attacked once more.
A moment later, a second Ukrainian drone swooped in, this time directly targeting the Russians' hiding spot, most likely inflicting a fatal blow.
The third, decisive strike was the most spectacular, completely obliterating the tank. The explosion was so intense that the detached cannon was flung several meters away from the wreckage.
