Ukrainian Drone Outsmarts Russian Remote Mining Machine in Battle
Russians have unveiled their latest invention – a caterpillar drone designed for remote mining on the battlefield. In response, the Ukrainians have released a video from their drone showing an attack on this "innovative" weapon.
Often referred to as "the second army of the world," Russia frequently demonstrates that its technological innovations are leaps ahead. This occasion is no different, showcasing a drone for battlefield mining. It lacks any form of camouflage or even basic efforts, such as painting silver components black, suggesting that this "invention" might be an easy target for the Ukrainians.
In a significant reveal, the Ukrainians responded to the aggressor's technology. The initial video combines two short segments. The first offers a close-up view of the new Russian invention in a setting that appears to be a makeshift workshop – possibly a garage. The drone is showcased, a concoction featuring an engine, two tracks, and nine cut, silver tubes atop (presumably for the mines).
The second video, produced by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, is noticeably lower quality, attributed to the camera mounted on a kamikaze drone. Nevertheless, it clearly illustrates that the target is Russia's latest invention—a ground drone designed for remote mine deployment.
