Trump's 'Force One' jet in tarmac clash at Florida airport

Donald Trump's private jet collided with another aircraft on the tarmac in Florida. The Boeing 757, the billionaire's favourite jet and a pivotal feature of his election campaign, also known as "Trump Force One," reportedly clipped another aircraft with its wing while taxiing after landing.

The Reuters agency reported on this incident on Wednesday, but the event occurred on the night of Saturday to Sunday at West Palm Beach airport in Florida. According to a source familiar with the matter quoted by the agency, the former president of the USA's airplane was said to have collided with another jet owned by a corporate aviation entity while moving on the airport apron.

The official statement from the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) states that the private Boeing 757 made contact with another parked and empty jet on the apron.

Trump did not comment on the incident

However, the FAA statement did not confirm that the aircraft belonged to the politician. The agency highlighted that the incident occurred in a section of the airport where the FAA does not control air traffic. Nevertheless, the authority announced that it would thoroughly investigate the incident.

When the Reuters agency became aware of the event, it sought further details from Donald Trump's election campaign team. However, they did not receive a response to their request for comment.
