- The threat that I worry the most about vis a vis Europe is not Russia, it's not China, it's not any other external actor. What I worry about is the threat from within: the retreat of Europe from some of its most fundamental values, values shared with the USA - said U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance in his speech at the Munich Security Conference on Friday.

He dedicated his address entirely to a sharp critique of European democracy, accusing Europe of abandoning its own values, enforcing censorship, ignoring voters, and persecuting Christians, deeming them the greatest threats to the continent.

- I mean, I thought he made a very good speech, actually, a very brilliant speech. he talked about immigration, and Europe has a big immigration problem - Trump said when asked about Vance's Friday speech.

Trump agreed with the vice president that Europeans are "losing their wonderful right of freedom of speech" and added that according to him, the "speech was very well-received".
