Sad news has come from the boxing world. Ardi Ndembo has died, who was knocked out three weeks ago by Nestor Santana. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, the boxer from Congo could not be saved. He was 27 years old.

Three weeks ago, Ardi Ndembo competed at a gala event hosted by the Team Combat League in Florida. It was a one-round bout lasting three minutes. The fighters pushed themselves to the limit, each striving for victory.

The match, however, ended in tragedy. Ardi Ndembo faced Nestor Santana, both fighters having maintained unbeaten records in their professional careers. The intense exchange of punches culminated in Santana's victory by knockout.

But the fight's outcome quickly became a secondary concern. Ndembo lost consciousness for several minutes and was urgently transported to a local hospital, indicating the severity of his condition.

In the hospital, the 27-year-old was placed into a medically induced coma. From the outset, the doctors' predictions were bleak. On Friday, April 26, it was sadly announced that Ndembo had passed away.

The boxer from Congo had participated in 8 professional fights and was victorious in all, with seven wins coming by knockout. Tragically, he did not win the most critical battle, the fight for his life.

"We mourn the loss of Ardi Ndembo, a talented Congolese boxer, who tragically passed away after being knocked out in the Team Combat League event. He remained in a coma until his untimely death," his promoter shared on the X service.

Ardi Ndembo hailed from Brazzaville in Congo. At 27 years old, he leaves behind two children.
