On 13 July 2024, Lithuania experienced a monstrous storm that hit the area around Šiauliai. Surveillance recorded the terrifying moments of the tornado hitting one of the local farms. The extent of the destruction is alarming.
The roof of the building was completely ruined. The mighty wind tore off the roof tiles and ceilings, leaving the building ruins. The tornado did not spare the garden either – trees were uprooted, and the backyard well was demolished.
The residents of the house experienced moments of horror, and the surveillance recordings showed the might of the natural disaster, which in just a few moments turned a peaceful farm into a storm-ravaged battlefield. Local emergency services quickly emerged, assisting the victims and securing the area.
