The interior boasts upholstery made from Levi's jeans, and the tasteful inclusion of leather patches and a metal dashboard finish. It’s a delightful blend of style and elegance.
Interestingly, the JeepHeritage team chose not to install a modern engine under the hood and instead kept the original 5.9-litre V8. In a twist, they replaced the carbs with fuel injection. The brakes have also been upgraded to discs, and the exhaust has been swapped for a better sounding one to match the V8's capabilities.
This restored Jeep already comes with a rust-proofed frame. The differentials and gearboxes have been updated, now functioning as well as they would, fresh from the factory.
The Jeep has clocked around 2,000 miles since renovation and is seeking a proud new owner. If you wish to acquire this "brand-new" Jeep, be prepared to spend big - the company is asking for £146,000, rounded, with a waiting list of no less than four years.
