Travelling by plane is a fast and convenient way to travel quickly from one place to another. However, when boarding, it is worth remembering a few rules. A particular steward described them in detail on TikTok.

In recent years, plane travel has become viral thanks to cheap connections. These connections allow you to quickly get to even the most remote corners of the world for little money. Thousands of passengers pass through the decks of various airlines every day.

Tommy Cimato, a popular steward on TikTok, shared some advice with his followers about what to avoid when travelling by plane. Some of the advice might be somewhat surprising.

Shorts on a plane? The steward says it's not a good idea

In a video posted on social media, Cimato urged netizens to carefully consider what outfit they would wear to board the plane. It turns out that shorts are better avoided.

He advised that on a plane, do not wear or at least try not to wear shorts because you can never be sure how clean it will be on board, and long trousers will help you avoid germs left behind by other passengers.

Basic hygiene rules on the plane

The man also shared with netizens other rules concerning hygiene on board. He pointed out, for example, that you should not touch the lever or button of the toilet flush with bare hands. - Honestly, it's just unhygienic and quite disgusting, so use a napkin or tissue when flushing, - he emphasized.

Due to the many people travelling by plane and the often short time between one flight and another, Cimato suggested not leaning your head against the window while sleeping.

He stated that you were not the only person who did this and that you didn't know how many people and children had wiped their hands or "other things all over it." He also appealed to passengers to remember to stay hydrated during the flight and report any ailments to the crew.

- We are here to help you, so if you need food, water, or a bag for air sickness, do not hesitate to let us know, - he emphasized.
