In the Greek city of Patras on the Peloponnese, a man was arrested for firing shots into the air during an argument over a parking space. It turned out that the detainee was the son of a local priest.

An unusual incident occurred in the Greek city of Patras, which ended with police intervention. A man, who is the son of a local clergyman, was arrested after he fired shots into the air during a dispute over a parking space.

The incident, which occurred on Tuesday evening in the city centre on Gambeta Street, is reported by the Greek portal tempo24.news. According to the service, before the shots were fired, there was a fight between drivers over a parking space.

The man who used the weapon was arrested early Wednesday morning at his home in western Achaia. According to the Greek service, he is a 25-year-old man identified by police shortly after the incident.

Unable to find an empty parking space, he resolved the issue extraordinarily. The shots caused panic among passers-by.

The police located the suspect's whereabouts and visited him on Wednesday morning while he was still asleep. During the inspection, officers found the weapon he used, as well as another firearm, a taser, and ammunition.
