The news of the stars' divorce was announced on Friday, February 9, by the "TMZ" portal. Due to this agreement, each party retained the wealth they individually accumulated during their seven-year relationship. Both also decided against any claims for alimony.

Sofía Vergara explains reasons for separation: "it's not for me anymore"
The dissolution of the actors' marriage has been public knowledge for several months. Following the announcement, and while formal divorce proceedings were underway, both partners promptly found comfort in new relationships. Vergara is currently dating Dr. Justin Saliman.
In a recent interview, Vergara shed light on what led to the end of her marriage. "My husband was younger and wanted children, but I'm not open to being an older mother," she told "El País". It's worth noting that the age difference between the couple is only four years: Manganiello is 47, while Vergara is 51. However, their visions of the future diverged significantly.

"I believe it's unfair on the child. I respect everyone who chooses to have children at an older age, but it's not the path for me. I had my son at 19; he's now 32 years old, and I'm prepared to be a grandmother, not a mother," she explained.
Vergara refers to her son Manolo Gonzalez-Ripoll, who was born in 1992 as a result of her relationship with Joe Gonzalez. This relationship began when she was just 18 and ended a year later. In July 2012, Vergara announced her engagement to American businessman Nick Loeb, but this engagement concluded after less than two years. In November 2015, she entered matrimony with Joe Manganiello, a union that lasted just shy of nine years.
Sofía Vergara stars in one of Netflix's newest hits. The six-episode series "Griselda" has been available on the platform since January 25.
