Russians flee Crimea as Zelensky targets Kerch bridge
The Russians fear an attack from Ukraine. More and more people are evacuating from Crimea. The reason is said to be the words of Volodymyr Zelensky.
According to Polsat News, residents of the Crimean Peninsula, occupied by Russia, fear that the next target of the Ukrainian offensive will be the Kerch Bridge. Increasing numbers of Russians are deciding to evacuate—reports suggest.
"This can be seen by the traffic jams on the bridge," says Denys Chystikov, deputy permanent representative of the president of Ukraine on the peninsula.
Chystikov believes that the cause of the unrest among Russians is the words of Volodymyr Zelensky. The Ukrainian president mentioned that Ukraine plans to destroy the Kerch Bridge, stating that it is a "legitimate target."
