According to Polsat News, residents of the Crimean Peninsula, occupied by Russia, fear that the next target of the Ukrainian offensive will be the Kerch Bridge. Increasing numbers of Russians are deciding to evacuate—reports suggest.

"This can be seen by the traffic jams on the bridge," says Denys Chystikov, deputy permanent representative of the president of Ukraine on the peninsula.

Chystikov believes that the cause of the unrest among Russians is the words of Volodymyr Zelensky. The Ukrainian president mentioned that Ukraine plans to destroy the Kerch Bridge, stating that it is a "legitimate target."

Ukrainians storm the Russian border

Two hundred Ukrainian soldiers in infantry fighting vehicles arrived near the border and attempted to cross it. Simultaneously, about 300 soldiers of the Ukrainian armed forces reached the Shebekino checkpoint. Fighting is also occurring there.
