Russian politician admits to murdering his wife on social media
Russian politician Evgeny Nikolsky confessed to murdering his wife on social media on grounds of infidelity. He is said to have killed her in cold blood by stabbing her with a knife.
Evgeny Nikolsky, a politician from the Tver region (northwest of Moscow), has made headlines all over Russia. The information that made him "famous" is, however, terrifying.
The man is said to have murdered his wife on Saturday. Jealousy was the motive for the crime.
Details of the wife's murder
According to reports by the Baza channel on Telegram, the politician had an argument with his wife on Saturday. In a scene of jealousy, he took a knife and stabbed Ekaterina Nikolskaya in the neck.
During the altercation, Nikolsky's brother-in-law was also in the house. When he saw what had happened, he tried to save his sister. Then, the enraged politician attacked him. Defending himself, the stabbed woman's brother hit Evgeny with a tyre jack in the head.
What next for the murderer?
Russian media reported that the murderer was arrested. Meanwhile, Baza, who described the course of the murder on Telegram, reports that the politician is in hospital.
Whether in custody or the hospital, Evgeny Nikolsky is accused of murdering his wife. He committed a terrible crime by killing the mother of his child. Less than a year ago, the couple welcomed a daughter, who will turn one year old on May 12th.
