Russian missile strike on Kostiantynivka kills 10, injures 35

10 people were killed, and at least 35 were injured as a result of the Russian artillery attack on the city of Kostiantynivka, near the front line in Donetsk Oblast in eastern Ukraine, authorities reported on Friday.

"The Russians shelled the city with artillery and hit a supermarket. This is another deliberate attack on a crowded place, another act of terror by the Russians," Donetsk Oblast Governor Vadym Filashkin reported at noon Greenwich Time.
The fire has already been extinguished. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, nearby residential buildings, shops, and a dozen cars were also damaged.
"The enemy strikes, we save and protect. Thank you to everyone who is close to the victims," wrote Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reacted to the attack. "An attack by Russian terrorists on an ordinary supermarket and post office. People are under the rubble. The rescue operation is ongoing, and everything will be done to save them," he wrote on Telegram.

"Russia will be held responsible for this terror, and we will do everything to ensure that the world continues to be with Ukraine, supports our defence, and saves the lives of our people," Zelensky added.
