On the night between Wednesday and Thursday, a drone attack occurred at the airport in Primorsko-Akhtarsk, located in the Russian region of Krasnodar Krai. According to Ukrainska Pravda, there is a nearby warehouse containing Shahed kamikaze drones, which the Russians use for attacks against Ukraine.

The attack took place near the airport, where a warehouse with Shahed drones is located. Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Centre for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, confirmed this information. Recordings from the scene show a large fire and plumes of smoke.

Videos on Telegram depict fire and smoke over the city, and incoming drones can also be heard.

This is not the sole attack executed by Ukrainian forces. During the same night between Wednesday and Thursday, a refinery located in Krasnodar Krai was also targeted by Ukrainian drones. This marks another attack on Russian fuel facilities since the beginning of the year.

These attacks are part of a broader strategy by Ukraine to weaken Russian military capabilities.

Krasnodar Krai, where the attacks occurred, is a strategic area for Russia. Key military and industrial installations are located there, making it a target for Ukrainian military operations.
