The horror experienced by the Russian commander allegedly lasted four hours. The man was tied to a tree during ongoing shelling. Andrei Eliseenko explained that this was a punishment for a conflict with the leadership.

Eliseenko is from St. Petersburg and was recruited for the war in Ukraine in October 2022. From the very beginning, he expressed dissatisfaction. According to Russian propagandists, the main reason for his objection was that the soldiers had to buy almost all their equipment with their money.

Superiors asked him not to speak loudly about the problems plaguing the Russian army, but the matter could not be settled amicably. They then decided to take more radical steps.

Eliseenko was tied to a tree during four hours of shelling near the town of Oleshky. The city is located in the southern part of Ukraine, in the Russian-occupied Kherson region.

Eliseenko can speak of miracle. Tied to a tree, he survived several hours of shelling and was freed.
