Bridget Jones is returning to our screens. Work on the fourth instalment of the hit movie series is currently underway. Renée Zellweger will once again portray the titular character. The first photos from the set have surfaced online.

It's safe to say that the character Bridget Jones has become a true pop culture icon, and millions of viewers have loved her adventures. This should come as no surprise, as Bridget was portrayed realistically, with all her flaws and weaknesses. Her honesty with herself and humorous approach to her imperfections make her very likeable. Of course, much of this is thanks to the actress who played the role, Renee Zellweger, who performed brilliantly.

Two years ago, Zellweger appeared on "The Jess Cagle Show" on SiriusXM radio. During the conversation, the actress mentioned that she would gladly return to the role of the beloved character. As it turns out, her wish has come true, as it was announced some time ago that another instalment of the iconic series is in the works. It's titled "Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy".

The film is scheduled to premiere on February 14, 2025, next year's Valentine's Day. According to "NBC News," the cast will feature several new faces, including Chiwetel Ejiofor and Leo Woodall. It is already known that the work on the film is moving full steam ahead. Photos from London have emerged online, showing Renee Zellweger in action.
