The T-90M Proryw-3 tanks are Vladimir Putin's army's most powerful machines. According to the latest information, a train fully loaded with modern Russian tanks has left the manufacturing plants in Nizhny Tagil. They will soon reach the front, where they are expected to aid in the offensive to the west.

As confirmed by the plant representatives, on Monday, May 6, a train loaded with T-90M Proryw tanks left the premises of the Tank Plant in Nizhny Tagil, heading towards the Russian military.

Although the number of tanks is unknown, this delivery follows a new batch of T-72B3M tanks sent just a week earlier.

The constant work of the dedicated team at the plant in Nizhny Tagil ensures steady deliveries of advanced military technology to our forces, timely adherence to schedules, and maintaining high production quality for defence-related orders - the personnel from Nizhny Tagil explain.

This is the largest transport of the Kremlin's armoured fist in the last two months. What does it mean? Experts explain that the Russians are likely preparing for another offensive at the front. They have managed to gather a lot of new equipment, which is soon to be deployed in combat, straight from the Russian manufacturing plants.

The Bulgarian Military portal points out that the next delivery of machines means that Russia can still produce its latest designs. However, it is not clear whether the losses replenished over the month are 100 percent brand new machines or also include refurbished units.

Modern Russian tanks are heading to the front

The T-90M Proryw-3 is the latest tank introduced into the Russian armed forces in 2020. According to estimates from the "The Military Balance 2022" report, at the end of 2021, Russia had only 67 such machines on hand. They are a deep modernization of the T-90A tanks and a significant upgrade of the T-72B.

According to the manufacturer, compared to older solutions, it performs better against kinetic penetrators APFSDS-T and can handle shaped charge projectiles with a tandem warhead. Ukrainians have shown several times that the design is full of flaws and can effectively destroy these tanks.

The Russian design is also equipped with machine guns of calibre 7.62 mm and 0.50 inches. The power unit generating a power level of 1,000 kW (about 1,341 hp) accelerates the T-90M Proryw to a maximum speed of about 65 km/h (40 mph). However, this is too little to avoid drones on the battlefield, which have become a bane of Russian machines for good.
