Princess Anne has been involved in an accident with a horse. The sister of King Charles III is currently in hospital with a concussion and head injuries. A spokesperson for the British royal family has already spoken about the matter.

It's no secret that Princess Anne, 73, is an excellent equestrian. The sister of the current king loves horses. Unfortunately, a recent accident hospitalised the British royal family member.

According to British media, Princess Anne's injuries likely resulted from a horse blow to the head or legs. As stated in the announcement, all public appearances of the princess have been postponed. "Her Royal Highness sends her apologies to any who may be inconvenienced or disappointed as a result," the royal spokesperson informed.

Incident at Gatcombe Park Estate. Princess Anne injured by horse?

The royal family spokesperson's statement has already appeared online. A well-known British journalist who follows the monarchs' lives decided to comment.

"A statement from Buckingham Palace says The Princess Royal is in hospital in Bristol following an incident yesterday involving a horse or horses. It would appear her injuries are consistent with being hit by a horses head or legs. Her brother, The King, is being kept informed," read a post by Dickie Arbiter on the X platform (formerly Twitter).

King Charles III was informed of the accident immediately. Seventy-three-year-old Anne is expected to remain in hospital for about a week. Specialists are overseeing her condition. Due to the princess's health, her trip to Canada, scheduled for the end of this week, has been cancelled. The British king's sister will also be unable to attend the official banquet organised for the visiting guests from Japan.
