Millions of fans worldwide have long been fascinated by the daily lives of the British royal family. Much attention is given to the royals' duties. Prince William, in particular, has a lot on his plate due to his wife's and father's illnesses. Additionally, the death of Queen Elizabeth II brought about substantial changes, such as alterations in patronage. Despite these challenges, royal duties can be financially rewarding.

The Duchy of Cornwall publishes a special Integrated Annual Report every year, which includes the royals' earnings. The latest data reveals how much Prince William has gained in his first year managing the Duchy of Cornwall's estate. The amount is staggering.

The portal "People", based on the mentioned report, calculated that Prince William earned $30 million from the Duchy of Cornwall’s estate in the last financial year 2023-2024. This converts to nearly £24 million. This impressive sum covers the 42-year-old's official, charitable, and private expenses, as well as those of his family. It was noted, however, that the heir to the throne pays voluntary income tax on the annual excess income from the Duchy of Cornwall. According to "People", the exact amount Prince William pays was not specified.

When Charles officially ascended the throne, his eldest son inherited the title of Duke of Cornwall and properties and businesses. According to media reports, their value exceeds £800 million. The "People" editorial team emphasised that Prince William's estate, which includes land, farms, houses, and other assets, is meant to support the heir to the throne and his family.
