Prince William and David Beckham unite for a noble cause

The heir to the throne began October with an official visit to the Royal Air Force base in London. The purpose was to ceremoniously hand over two new medical helicopters to the London Air Ambulance Charity, of which Prince William has been a patron since 2020. David Beckham, who is heavily involved in fundraising for the helicopters' financing, also attended this significant event.

The gentlemen had the opportunity to step into the cockpit of the bright red helicopters, which will soon take off to save patients' lives across London. The Britons, dressed in classic black suits, eagerly posed for photos with the assembled medical crew and pilots. During their private conversations, smiles never left their faces.

A testimony to the strength of their several-year-long close friendship is, among other things, the invitation of the football legend and his wife, Victoria, to the future king's wedding to Kate Middleton in 2011. Seven years later, the gentlemen also met at the wedding ceremony of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The retired footballer declared in an interview years ago such a great affection for William that he is even willing to forgive him for his love for Aston Villa.
