Pork chops are a dish that many of us have known since childhood – aromatic, crispy, and golden. Preparing the perfect pork chop is quite an art, especially when it comes to the coating. A crispy, well-adhered crust can make a pork chop taste even better than the ones we eat in restaurants. The key to this is using a simple trick that elevates classic pork chops to the next level – replacing standard wheat flour with something a bit different, yet equally accessible. Want to try it? Discover how a simple trick can transform your pork chops into the best you've ever eaten.

Say goodbye to boring coatings

Ordinary breadcrumb coating is a classic, but do we have to limit ourselves to it? It turns out that a small change in ingredients can bring surprising results. Instead of traditional wheat flour and breadcrumbs, we suggest using corn flour and bran or oatmeal. This simple switch will make your cutlets crispy, light, and full of flavour.

Recipe for pork chops with extra coating

Ingredients:

  • 600 grams of pork loin,
  • pepper and salt,
  • 3 tablespoons of corn flour,
  • breadcrumbs or ground oatmeal/bran,
  • 3 eggs,
  • 2 tablespoons of table mustard,
  • oil for frying.

Instructions:

  1. Cut the pork loin into slices, flatten with a meat tenderiser, and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, vigorously mix eggs with a pinch of salt and a tablespoon of oil.
  3. In a separate bowl, add corn flour and mix well with the eggs. Then coat the pieces of meat in it.
  4. Alternately coat the breaded cutlets in breadcrumbs, oatmeal, or bran.
  5. Fry the cutlets in heated oil on both sides until golden brown.

Traditional pork chops will take on an entirely new character thanks to our recipe. The crispy, aromatic coating and juicy meat will delight everyone, even the biggest gourmand. Experiment with different add-ons and create your own unique version of this dish.
